if my lg banter phone is locked  how do i unlock it i forgot password

call your service provider.  after they verify that you are the real owner of the phone, they will give you a code that will allow you to re-program your phone.  then the security lock code will reset to the default code (in my case, last 4 digits of my mobile phone #)
